Pasjača Beach

Pasjača beach below the cliffs near Dubrovnik
Pasjača is one of the most spectacular beaches in the Dubrovnik area, a secluded pebble cove tucked beneath dramatic high cliffs in the Konavle region, below the village of Popovići. The crystal-clear turquoise water and towering rock backdrop make it a truly unforgettable spot, often listed among Europe's most beautiful beaches. Getting there: The beach is reached on foot via a steep, partly stepped trail carved through the cliffs and a tunnel, taking around 10 minutes to walk down. Wear sturdy shoes and take it slowly – it is doable with care but not suitable for those with mobility issues. Good to know: There are no facilities, cafes or shops, so bring plenty of water, snacks, sun protection and anything else you need. There is a parking area near the top. Avoid the descent in bad weather, and note the beach can shrink or disappear at high tide or rough seas.
